Got some new shoes on saturday Mizuno Wave something or other. Went to this brilliant shop in Safron Walden called "Runnerway" (http://www.runnerway.co.uk)where they put you on a treadmil and film your legs and decide waht shoe is best. Then the lady insisted I go for a test run before I bought the shoes.
So I had to go test them Saturday afternoon and I ran about 8 miles. Tried a new beer Entire Butt Porter from Salopian Brewery - really good pint which aided my recovery.
